Welcome to my website

I'm Damian Garcia, a student of Jazz and Classical music at University of North Texas. I have extensive piano experience having studied and performed along professional musicians such as Paquito d'Rivera, Claudio Roditi, Wayne Bergeron, Frank Wess, Mike Steinel, Butch Miles, Taylor Eigsti, Ed Soph, Danny Mertens, Jim Riggs, Will Campbell, Bob Mintzer and my mentor Texas State University Jazz instructor Freddie Mendoza.

I have attended jazz workshops at Stanford University in California and at University of North Texas. In 2009 I received a piano studies scholarship to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and studied under the tutelage of Ray Santisi, former instructor of internationally famous jazz luminaries as Diana Krall, Alan Broadbent and Keith Jarret.
